OSCEOLA – A family in Osceola lost their house over the weekend after a blaze tore through their home.

The Osceola Fire Department and several area fire departments battled the house fire for roughly eight hours Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Osceola fire chief Toby Watts says his department was dispatched at around 7 p.m  to the 200 block of South State Street…

Watts says the family of five, including a 3-year-old and 8-year-old boys and 6-year-old and 12-year-old girls were not home at the time and there were no injuries. The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire. The home is considered a total loss.
