(AUDIO) Bancroft Public Library kicks off Summer Reading Program with Zoo Visit

About 30-40 people attended Bancroft Public Library’s Zoo Visit on Wednesday. Library Director Lesa Bargmann says the Zoo brought in three animals.

Bargmann says the Zoo brought in a Milk Snake.

F’Real malt certificates were awarded to Kyle Novak, Hayden Bridges, Emelia Nolting, Deb Nolting, and Ingrid Freese.

Bargmann says more is planned in July.

Bargmann says the library has a list of things for the kids to do and make having to do with the Universe of Books, including designing some cookies to look like planets, sidewalk chalk things, moon craters, balloon rockets, and outer space bingo.

All ages are welcome.

The library could always use some older boys or girls to volunteer, according to Bargmann.
